The power of God is evident in the dimes and quarters and dollars you put in your Mite Box and this is celebrated each fall on LWML Sunday as we thank you for your support. Through your mite offerings, LWML is able to support mission work all around the world. Districts retain 75% of mite offerings for their work, and 25% is set aside for national LWML. Based on the Biblical account of the widow's mite (Mark 12:41-43), the Mite Box is intended for contributions of small "mites".
